BenQ P50 to be distributed in Arab countries by Dangaard March 05, 2006 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. Dangaard was supposed to distribute the Motorola MPx in Europe and it never happened. Previously (during 3GSM 2006) Dangaard announced that it will be distributing Fujitsu-Siemens Pocket Loox T830 and T810 and now they announced that BenQ P50 will be distributed by them in Middle East (i.e. mostly Arab countries). For end users this story is however useless because Dangaard distributes to retailers but not to individuals! The BenQ P50 is a big heavy Pocket PC phone powered by outdated Windows Mobile (not 5.0), that however has built-in QWERTY keyboard and built-in Wi-Fi:
We have seen BenQ P50 for the first time at CeBIT 2004 (2 years ago!) but it became available only recently (this year), so it is already inherently outdated and we hope that this year, at CeBIT 2006, BenQ will show some new Windows Mobile phones, because this outdated P50 may be too hard to sell...
