Extensive HTC Startrek review
March 16, 2006 [MS Smartphone] | By Edward J. R.

Here comes an extensive review on the HTC Startrek (AKA i-Mate Smartflip and Qtek 8500)!

(on the image above, to the right: HTC Star Trek)

Some highlights from this review - from the author:

- We were surprised to find only 64MB ROM and not the 128MB ROM we expected. Our sources tell us that later this year there might be a second release of this phone that includes 128MB ROM.

- No Mini-USB! This phone has a new plug type that we could describe as "flat Mini-USB".

- The Micro-SD slot is behind the SIM card which means you have to take the SIM card out to get to the Micro-SD card slot.

- The device is very fast! Probably the fasted Windows Mobile powered Smartphone we have worked with until now.

You can find the (translated) review here and the original (in Dutch) is here.
