ROM upgrade 213 available for E-TEN M600 Pocket PC phone March 24, 2006 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. Still no push email in this upgrade, but A2DP already included (even in older versions) and this ROM brings several bug fixes and improvements. When it comes to Windows Mobile phones they may be judged by how often ROM upgrades with fixes and upgrades are released and by now E-TEN is very good at this! Bugs fixing of OS 213: * Add PIM (personal information management) backup utility. * Add SKYPE and SKYPE Receiver switch application (SKYPE can hear from receiver directly) * Fixed the issue that after align calibration setting sometimes then align point would shift problem. * Improving data transfer rate when using USB Modem link function * Fixed when use Bluetooth function for data transferring, M600 would not pop up message to notice if allowing to accept data or not. * In Speed dial function adds send SMS function (when in frequency dial or index dial press any contact for a while then a message box coming out to ask if dail or send SMS message) * In phone setting (start/setting/personal/phone) adds skin change function that allows switching dialer skin to Microsoft default or ETEN. * Fixed call forward problem by re-modified driver of call forward setting. * Fixed when use Bluetooth headset answer phone call and you get a call waiting and change to the new call the Bluetooth stops working and you need to pick up the phone situation.
