Dopod S300 smartphone - clone of Motorola RAZR but powered by Windows Mobile - officially launched

Not i-mate, but Dopod (after Qtek one of 2 brands owned by HTC itself) is the first to launch officially the HTC Star Trek under the name "Dopod S300".



Some highlights of this phone:
  • no mini-USB but a proprietary USB connector
  • no UMTS but only quad-band GSM, GPRS and EDGE
  • no built-in Wi-Fi
  • processor: TI OMAP 850 - 200 MHz
  • no USB 2.0 but only USB 1.1
  • no Bluetooth 2.0 but onlmy Bluetooth v1.2 without EDR
  • no mini-SD or SD but micro-SD card slot
  • size: 98.5 mm x 51.4 mm x 15.8 mm, weight: 99g
  • OS: Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone Edition
