SlingPlayer for MS Smartphone released May 28, 2006 [MS Smartphone] | By Edward J. R. Despite initial delays, it looks like Sling Media offers excellent support for Windows Mobile! Sling Media sells "SlingBox" - a device that enables remote TV viewing: for example you can watch Sky TV from your home in UK, while you are on holiday in Spain. At the beginning SlingPlayer software that enabled this remote viewing was available only for Windows XP, later SlingPlayer Mobile for Pocket PC was released, and now also SlingPlayer for MS Smartphone has been released although most smartphones have only relatively slow processors of speed 200 MHz: Due to popular demand, we are extending the SlingPlayer Mobile experience to Windows Mobile Smartphone devices. With a navigation-focused user interface, SlingPlayer Mobile for Windows Smartphone now lets you watch your Slingbox on smartphones without touch-screens and stylus.
