ROK Player now available for Windows Mobile phones and PDAs June 29, 2006 [Pocket PC] | By Edward J. R. It was announced in February 2006 but it became available just recently (June 2006!). This is a player for your Windows Mobile devices (Pocket PC only, no MS Smartphone support yet) that enables you playback of commercial content like TV series (Dr Who, Little Britain, etc) or movies: ROK TV - UK-based provider of mass-market 2.5G mobile TV - has added 8 Microsoft devices to our list of compatible handsets. To date, ROK TV now operates on 33 handsets with more to be announced in July. ROK is busy licensing it's patent-pending 2.5G mobile TV technology to networks around the world.
