Yet another extensive review of the HTC TyTN July 18, 2006 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. HTC TyTN is a HTC Hermes Pocket PC phone branded and sold by HTC itself (it will be sold also under different names by wireless carriers and distributors). This phone has chances to become one of the most popular Windows Mobile devices ever because it has almost all possible wireless interfaces, including quad band GSM, tri-Band UMTS, HSDPA, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and apart from that features QWERTY keyboard and a true scroll wheel... The HTC TyTN is a device that is positioned in the marketplace as a device that has almost everything on board. GPS has been left out unfortunately. The TyTN is compact and versatile. The device is pretty strong and you can see that it has been fabricated with care. The slow processor is gone, the strange battery shell is gone and the keyboard has been replaced by one that is much better. Unfortunately the stylus is still not good. The 400Mhz Samsung processor makes the device work fast even when having multiple applications open. To read this review click here (automatic translation to English). Credit: Wouter, Willem Ditters.
