GPS Navigation on Windows Mobile Smartphones with landscape display (320x240) July 24, 2006 [MS Smartphone] | By Edward J. R. Apart from Motorola Q that is already on sale in USA and Canada only, soon another MS Smartphone with landscape display is coming - Samsung i320 (to Europe only at first)! If you are using GPS navigation software in your existing MS Smartphone it may be interesting to learn which GPS programs work with new resolution and which not... For a while we thought only the USA would get the "extra slick" Motorola Q Windows Mobile Smartphone with its hi-resolution 320x240 landscape screen, not so, with Samsung offering a similar model with the i320. As far as GPS navigation goes, I was fairly optimistic since both the operating system and the resolution are known factors.
