Unidentified 3G Pocket PC phone sighted August 23, 2006 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. 3G Pocket PC phone with video calling is coming to O2! A photo of O2-branded 3G Pocket PC phone has surfaced here. O2 has practice of ordering phones, that later are branded by O2, at various manufacturers. Lately it is ordering some regular (non-smartphone) phones at BenQ for example. The 3G Pocket PC phone looks like rather basic model, that however seems to have built-in Wi-Fi and a camera in the front, what indicates full video calling functionality. This video calling is further confirmed by "video call" button in the soft-phone on the screenshot. It is also not clear whether this 3G Pocket PC phone is destined for O2 Europe or O2 Asia, and who is really manufacturing it (Quanta or BenQ?) but clearly it will be an interesting addition, particularly for existing O2 customers.
