Extensive Palm Treo 750v review September 13, 2006 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. Cult of Treo has failed to be transferred from USA to Europe, but with Treo 750v it may change and finally Palm may be able to challenge Symbian, that in Europe has over 80% of market share in smartphones... A quote from the review: "The device is clearly not ment for massive text input but it works great while using it with just one hand. By the size of the device we would say the Palm Treo 750v can be put between a Pocket PC and a Smartphone. The fact that there is no WiFi on board seemed a bit dissapointing but in the end we did not miss it that much. In our opinion the device is finnished, except for a few minor flaws. This is the first Pocket PC Phone Edition that does not give us the need to take out the stylus each time we want to use it. This device clearly combines the best of both Palm and Windows Mobile. The sound quality while making a call is very good. If we have to mention a flaw? Well, then it would be the the lack of a mini-USB connector. Instead of mini-USB, Palm chose to use their own connector." To read the review click here.
