Samsung IP-830W Pocket PC phone available now in USA at Sprint October 03, 2006 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. In Europe Samsung has not released yet any Pocket PC phone with QWERTY keyboard but in USA - the most important market in the world - Samsung is very active in this area! There is another difference between Europe and USA: while Europe is dominated by UMTS/GSM standards, in USA only smaller operators (Cingular, T-Mobile) use it, and the most popular cellular standard is CDMA (EVDO) available from Verizon Wireless and Sprint. Some people however like to buy GSM phones at Cingular or T-Mobile to have global roaming ability in GSM networks.
