More Microsoft employees will leave Windows Mobile division soon October 07, 2006 [General] | By Edward J. R. ... and we advice particularly those people, who are incompetent and who lack passion for mobility to start packing right away! In past several Microsoft employees have left Windows Mobile division (or Windows Embedded and Mobile division to be precise) treating it just as a minor step-stone in their career path. Now with new policies within Microsoft it will be even easier: Microsoft acted, and now moving around inside of Microsoft is a bit looser and more in favor of the employee. ... I think for both Microsoft and you to succeed, strategic movement through-out the company, according to your passions and interest, is the best career-management strategy. The longer you continue doing the same-damn-thing the more likely it is you're going to peak and max-out in your career and start going through career atrophy. Want to have full-spectrum experiences? Move from successful cycle to successful cycle from group to group. To read more click here. While at first glance the bigger internal mobility (pun not intended) of Microsoft employees will result in several people leaving Windows Mobile for more profitable divisions (like enterprise software), it may also be an opportunity to get rid of incompetent employees, who work 8 hours a day and no more, and who lack any passion for mobility. We will not name and shame these Microsoft employees yet, but we kindly ask them to leave Windows Mobile division at once - by taking advantage of the Microsoft's new policy of internal employees rotation!
