Microsoft releases Windows Live Messenger for Symbian BEFORE releasing it for Windows Mobile ! October 26, 2006 [General] | By Edward J. R. Where Microsoft is finding such incompetent employees? It is incredible but true! While the Windows Live Messenger for Windows Mobile still is not available (apart from illegal Beta versions stored on illegal websites on the Internet), as you can see here:
... where Microsoft writes: Windows Live Messenger Beta for mobile - COMING SOON Stay in touch with friends, family, and co-workers, even when you're on the go. Use Messenger Beta for mobile to see who's online, send and receive instant messages, or take part in group chats. ... the Windows Live Messenger for Symbian is already available at mobile.msn.com.cn - a Chinese version of mobile MSN. To learn more and see screenshots of it running on Symbian device, click here. Commentary: Microsoft is just pathetic. Windows Live Messenger for Windows Mobile brings some vital new features like ability to transfer files to/from Windows Mobile devices, but it still is not available at all! In meantime Microsoft sponsors and supports its main competitor - Nokia - that de-facto owns and controls Symbian! The same pathetic situation is with Xbox that supports Apple iPod and also upcoming Microsoft Zune, but still is not supporting Windows Mobile at all. Clearly Windows Mobile is treated within Microsoft as lowest of the all castes - below the other castes in Microsoft corporation. No wonder some Microsoft employees are fleeing Windows Mobile division like rats leaving a sinking ship... If we think that Microsoft can't fall even deeper (who is this imbecile, who removed synchronization ability of Windows Mobile with PC over Wi-Fi?) Microsoft comes with something new. What next? Microsoft will release Office Mobile for Symbian before releasing it for MS Smartphone? Now everything is possible...
