Not all T-Mobile MDA Compact III Pocket PC phones are equal November 01, 2006 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. USA thinks, that Germany possessing nuclear weapons is not a good idea. T-Mobile, after all a German company, thinks that Germans possessing PDA phones with bult-in Wi-Fi is also not a good idea... and in Germany T-Mobile is releasing T-Mobile MDA Compact III without Wi-Fi, but... ... but in Austria the same phone is available with built-in Wi-Fi as you can see here. We see no reasonable reason why T-Mobile Germany is releasing this phone without Wi-Fi and customers should simply "vote by foot" and shouldn't buy it. We may understand why Germany doesn't need nuclear weapons - after all it is surrounded by friends = NATO countries and Germany itself is a NATO member - so nobody can endanger Germany... but we cannot understand and accept that Germans doesn't deserve bult-in Wi-Fi! It is yet not clear what will happen at T-Mobile UK - whether this phone will have built-in Wi-Fi or not, but our advice is simple: don't buy this phone if it will have no built-in Wi-Fi. After all HTC itself is selling it as HTC P3300 also with built-in Wi-Fi. Lack of Wi-Fi is nowadays forgivable in low-end smartphones and cellphones, but in PDA phones not!
