We give you a first look at the UBIQUIO 501 (that is on sale as i-mate JAQ3 too) side by side with the Palm Treo 750v - two brand new pocket pc phone edition devices with full QWERTY keyboard! Check out the pictures and watch this place for the upcoming review of the UBIQUIO 501! ![]() By Lutz Haedrich When I saw the first pictures of the UBIQUIO 501 I was thinking that this device looks pretty much like the beloved Samsung SGH-i320 smartphone. Then I thought it sounds too good to be true and that it is "vaporware" anyway. But here we go - it's real, it's available at expansys and of course we had to buy it! The specs look like this: Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC Edition Dimensions 122 (L) x 65 (W) x 13.5 (D) mm Weight 135g GSM/GPRS GSM 900/DCS 1800/PCS 1900, GPRS Class 10 Bluetooth 1.2 wth A2DP Wi-Fi 802.11b/g Processor TI OMAP 750 200 MHz Display 2.5" QVGA Colour TFT Camera 2 Mega-Pixel Memory Card Mini SD Connector mini USB Now we want to give you a first close look at the UBIQUIO 501 - side by side with the Palm Treo 750v from Vodafone that also has a QWERTY (QWERTZ in this case) keypad, but misses Wi-Fi - something the UBIQUIO 501 has! Check out the pictures and watch this place for a full review of the UBIQUIO 501 in the next days! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Hard to reach - the power butten you have to press to reactivate the device from power save mode... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The UBIQUIO 501 is a little wider than the Treo - something you will feel in your joint... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Nice to see: the UBIQUIO 501 has mini USB for power/sync cable... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() We will provide a complete review of the UBIQUIO 501 in the next days!
