AGEphone for Windows Mobile 5.0 released November 17, 2006 [General] | By Edward J. R. Japanese company has released Voice over IP (VoIP) software that works with both Windows Mobile platforms : Pocket PC and MS Smartphone. Unlike Skype that is based on proprietary P2P technology, AGEphone is based on industry-standard SIP. 
ageet announced the full version of the softphone "AGEphone" for Windows Mobile 5.0 which can be used to make VoIP phone calls on a PDA or Smartphone. AGEphone's extremely small and light VoIP engine runs fluently even on mobile devices such as T-Mobile MDA. A free Beta-Version is available. AGEphone offers great sound quality and a lot of features that come in handy, like importing your address book from Outlook, a speed dial function, an answering machine, call melodies, simultaneous use of multiple services and many more.
