Windows Live Search for USA available now for Windows Mobile and for Java phones November 30, 2006 [General] | By Edward J. R. Interestingly there are separate downloads for Java (J2ME, i.e. MIDP = JAD and JAR files) phone and for Windows Mobile phone (CAB file)! This application has not been developed by Microsoft's Windows Mobile division, but by Windows Live division and it is a rock solid and a "must-have" application that you simply can't miss: The Windows Live Search Beta for mobile application gives you fast access to local search and maps, driving directions, and even local traffic information. When you get your search results, you can click to call the phone number of the place you found, or even look at a satellite photo (on some phones) to find the best parking nearby! Service requires a J2ME-capable or Windows Mobile phone and a data plan for use...the service itself is free, but your carrier may charge you for data usage. To download Windows Live Search for Windows Mobile click here and select the download for Windows Mobile phone!
