Microsoft announces Samsung i600 at ITU Telecom World 2006 conference December 04, 2006 [MS Smartphone] | By Edward J. R. When the global ITU Telecom World conference (takes place not every year) was taking place in Europe (Switzerland) we were participating, but it takes time now in Hong Kong in Asia, so we are not there, but interestingly Microsoft is using this global event to announce launch of Samsung i600 (with podcasting support built-in!) in Asia and Europe (!) (previously it was launched in USA on Cingular as "BlackJack"): End-User Devices and Screens Windows Mobile software powers advanced, easy-to-use devices that allow users to send and receive e-mail, browse the Internet and work on mobile versions of software from the Microsoft Office system, all with the familiar Windows user experience.
