Developer Of The Year Awarded - Based on Windows Mobile Development December 08, 2006 [General] | By Edward J. R. Richard Jones of Anglia Business Solutions won the British Computer Society Developer of the Year 2006... thanks to developing software for Windows Mobile!
Over the past few years, Richard have worked with Windows Mobile and .Net Compact Framework and SQL Compact building Line Of Business Applications. Richard and his team at Anglia ( www.angliabs.com ) have worked on ways to streamline the process of building reliable partially connected applications and produced a tool called 'DataMaker'. Datamaker automates the production of the data layer, simply point the tool at a SQL table and it does the rest, churning out reliable Compact Framework code. Last night, win was not just a great win for Richard, but also endorcement that Windows Mobile has really grown into a solid and viable development platform.
