The "secret" of Nokia's success lies in releasing maximum number of models to cover maximum number of market segments (and also in Nokia's application of economies of scale). It is good to see that HTC is recently doing the same and releasing many new models, like the HTC Vox - a smartphone (not Pocket PC phone!) with slide-out QWERTY keyboard:
- Microsoft Windows Mobile 5 Smartphone
- 2.4 inch, QVGA TFT LCD

- TI OMAP 850, 200 MHz
- EDGE / GSM /GPRS quad band 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
- (possibly) UMTS
- Bluetooth
- Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g

While smartphones with smaller QWERTY keyboards (for single handed usage - like T-Mobile Dash or Samsung BlackJack) are the best choice for many people, still there are people with bigger hands than average, people who simply need bigger QWERTY keyboards and here smartphones and PDA phones with sliding QWERTY keyboards come to the rescue...
