First real-life photos of HTC Athena Pocket PC phone available December 20, 2006 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. Previously only computer generated images were available but now also photos of this phone have been published! What is HTC Athena? It is a new upcoming Pocket PC phone, that is supposed to be a successor to HTC Unviersal but it is bigger and has detachable (!) keyboard... 
Some highlights about HTC Athena Pocket PC phone:
Commentary: HTC was pre-announcing that they will think about ultra mobile PC market (UMPC) but everybody expected that it will be a device powered by UMPC version of Windows Vista. Instead HTC has come up with a device that looks like UMPC but is powered by Windows Mobile Pocket PC edition! HTC has already achieved scale big enough to make any device, but HTC Athena may be too big for a phone and too underpowered (lack of Windows Vista) to be a genuine UMPC... Credit: TCS.
