Another review of T-Mobile MDA Compact III published December 20, 2006 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. Author of this review claims, that it's great and fantastic and much better than any other review in the whole entire universe... ever and clearly this phone is a nifty and small Pocket PC phone: ![]() ... but maybe you can judge for yourself how good this review is: There's something else the MDA Compact III has - GPS. It's built in. No seperate box, no extra bluetooth thingy to charge up - it's inside. Think about it. In space there's millions of pounds worth of satellites floating around, beaming location information right back down to this tiny box of tricks. What else do we have ? Well, we'll get to that in a minute. Let's look at something it doesn't have - most noteably there's no 3G and no WiFi. To read the review and view several photos and screen shots click here. This review contains also description of ALK CoPilot GPS navigation software, that still is a runner-up and tries to catch up with TomTom - the market leader. Unlike author of this review we are less enthusiastic: the same phone is available with built-in Wi-Fi as HTC P3300, as O2 Xda Orbit, etc. - and decision of T-Mobile Europe to sell it without Wi-Fi is unacceptable, particularly because T-Mobile itself has wide network of Wi-Fi hotspots...
