Meet new HTC lineup for 2007 : HTC Kaiser, HTC Elf, HTC Omni, HTC Wings and more December 29, 2006 [General] | By Edward J. R. It looks like users can expect several new models of Windows Mobile powered phones from HTC next year, but unfortunately among them a Pocket PC phone with QWERTY keyboard for single handed usage is still missing... - due to agreement between HTC and Palm/HP, that says that as long as Palm/HP order Pocket PC phones with such keyboard at HTC, HTC will not be offering such phone itself... Another keyboard model, which is supposed to be issued in spring, is HTC Kaiser. Its form-factor is already known on HTC TyTN and HTC P4350 (Herald). Actually, it will be a slightly modified and advanced TyTN, which will have a GPS receiver in addition to the same QVGA-screen, the support of 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and a powerful processor (400Mhz). Apart from the lack of the Pocket PC phone with QWERTY keyboard for single handed usage, HTC still doesn't understand that high-quality camera (at least 3 megapixel, possibly 5; with auto-focus; with high-quality, possibly German lenses) is a necessity nowadays (to compete with Symbian phones)...
