CES 2007: Bill Gates to speak tomorrow about Windows Mobile January 06, 2007 [General] | By Edward J. R. There is a lot of new things being released at Microsoft these days: Windows Vista (wholly new OS for desktop and notebook) roll-out, new Microsoft Office 2007 (whole redesigned user interface), Zune, IPTV, UMPC, etc, etc so it is good to see that Bill Gates will also talk about Windows Mobile (see the green arrow):
Interestingly Bill Gates will have his keynote one day before official start of CES 2007 and for some reason video cameras will be forbidden during the keynote of Bill Gates: Bill Gates’ Keynote Address Timing. Bill Gates, chairman of Microsoft, will deliver the pre-show 2007 International CES keynote address at 6:30 p.m. PST Sunday, Jan. 7, in the Palazzo Ballroom at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas. [...] Still cameras will be allowed for credentialed photographers, but camera bags are subject to search and will be checked before photographers enter the keynote auditorium; flash photography will be permitted for the first minute only. Broadcast crews will not be allowed to set up video cameras at the keynote event To learn more click here.
