HTC Artemis Pocket PC phone - has some serious troubles January 17, 2007 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. HTC Artemis is sold under many names such as HTC P3300, Xda Orbit, MDA Compact III and we have received MANY (!!!) notifications from various (!!!) countries, that there are serious problems with this phone, so we have no choice but to publish it - as a warning (this is NOT a one-off problem, HTC should act!): Individual part: You receive from me the data of my device, so you can see, that this is a real problem of one individual with a unique HTC device. [...] I have a serious problem with my HTC Artemis branded version: Due to an unknown reason, I´m facing complete data loss on my storage card in irregular intervals. So far I was not able to locate the problem. [...] I have realized that almost 50% of the devices show this error. To learn more, mostly in German, click here. HTC Artemis is a very small Pocket PC phone with innovative controls (HTC RollR -Trackball/Trackwheel - for easy viewing and navigation) and with built-in GPS, and also with built-in Wi-Fi, FM radio and Bluetooth, so it would be a pity if this nice small phone would have hardware problem! We hope that a software upgrade will resolve this issue. Credit: Jens Fiedler, Imaginati0n, others (anonymous).
