HTC Vox smartphone spotted in the flesh - first real review published February 01, 2007 [MS Smartphone] | By Edward J. R. HTC Vox has an amazing slide-out QWERTY keyboard but in closed state it looks like just another smartphone with regular cellphone keypad! It is also powered by Windows Mobile 6.0, which also is well depicted in this review... Many people who are interested in getting a phone with QWERTY keyboard are discouraged by rather big size, but in case of this smartphone you get very small size and QWERTY keyboard in one! Moreover the keyboard is hidden so you don't have to show off the keyboard all the time but you can use it discretely. there is this well hidden sliding QWERTY keyboard which measured less than 1 cm for mobile warriors to text fast while on the go. The keyboard is easy and spacious to type too. [...] The feel of the phone is quite nice. It is overall well in balance. The weight of the phone is spread pretty even. The size of the phone is quite small and compact. The sound quality of the phone is crystal clear also. The device is very impressive even if it is just a prototype. If you are someone whom constantly on the move, prefer a mobile phone that can push mail same time can read and edit MS Word, excel files, WiFi preferred and also an inbuilt keyboard. This phone might be the one for you. To read the review of HTC Vox smartphone, including several photos and screen shots, click here. Credit: Bas Kappen.
