If you have Windows Vista in your computer then ActiveSync doesn't work, you need to download Windows Mobile Device Center to connect your Windows Mobile phone to Windows Vista! There are rumors that Windows Mobile Device Center is still unstable, is not working with all phones, Bluetooth support is weak, etc., but all in all it works for most cases and if you have Vista and a Windows Mobile device then you have to download it anyway! The Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center enables data synchronization between Windows Mobile-powered devices and Windows Vista.
