Microsoft employee leaks information about Windows Mobile 6.0 SDK February 07, 2007 [General] | By Edward J. R. Windows Mobile SDK (SDK = Software Development Kit) works together with normal Visual Studio 2005 installations and features among others native emulators of devices, so no wonder that also Windows Mobile 6.0 will have an excellent native emulator of Windows Mobile 6.0 device (please notice Vista-like 3D glossy effect in the UI): Here are highlights about this SDK - known by now: it is available for download internally in Microsoft - external release date is unclear but next week during 3GSM is the best bet now there is no Japanese version and no ability to set your region - the only version that exists is in English installation is flawless - this SDK is very stable The information comes from here (in Japanese - apparently from a Japanese employee of Microsoft). At the end of last year (2006) this new version of Windows Mobile has been shipped in RTM version to phone manufacturers so now only the last step is being awaited by everybody: official release by Microsoft.
