3G smartphone with single-handed QWERTY keyboard and Wi-Fi coming from Asus

It looks like it will be Asus, not Quanta, that will be the top contender of HTC!
Some highlights about this phone (exact name not known yet):
- powered by Windows Mobile 6.0 (Crossbow) smartphone edition (not Pocket PC!)
- UMTS (WCDMA) 2100 Mhz with 384 Kbps download, no HSDPA
- tri-band GSM 900/1800/1900 & GPRS Class B Multi-slot Class 10 , no EDGE
- processor: Intel XScale running at 416 MHz
- display: 320 x 240 pixels
- memory: 256 MB of ROM and 64 MB of RAM
- Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR
- Wi-Fi 802.11g
- Mini USB 1.1
- Port microSD
- camera: 2 megapixel

Conclusion: soon we will see much more phones powered by Windows Mobile with single-handed QWERTY keyboard and we know of more companies having such phones in development. Since Asus is selling their notebooks under their own brand, we can hope that also their Windows Mobile phones will be jointly marketed with notebooks - what will bring additional boost to Windows Mobile platform. After all if you already have Asus notebook and you are satisfied with it, then you certainly would be interested in getting also Asus smartphone...
