Asus 3G smartphone to use latest processors from Marvell February 07, 2007 [MS Smartphone] | By Edward J. R. Asus, manufacturer of several Windows Mobile phones - both operator branded and those being released under Asus brand - has decided to use processors from Marvell - a company that purchased whole XScale division from Intel - instead of using Samsung processors as some other manufacturers do...

The PXA901 communications processor supports GSM/GPRS and WCDMA communications; the PXA272 applications processor runs applications and services, and the operating system.
