Windows Mobile 6.0 - official now or not ? February 08, 2007 [General] | By Edward J. R. If Windows Mobile 6.0:
... is official, as some websites claim, then why Microsoft has not published any stories about it yet? Here is the explanation: One of MSM (Main-Stream Media) publications has broken the NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) that was in place till Monday, February 12, 2007, when Microsoft will announce at press conference official launch of Windows Mobile. At 3GSM also several Windows Mobile licensees will announce new mobile phones. The fact, that certain MSM publication has broken NDA, meant that other people who had received information about Windows Mobile 6.0 were no longer under obligation to hold till 3GSM 2007 conference (that starts next week). Microsoft has NOT officially announced Windows Mobile 6.0 (as you can see here (the announcement will appear there on February 12, 2007), but seeing what happened, Microsoft decided to let people write about it, even though indeed official launch of this new mobile OS will occur at 3GSM 2007! Since we will be present in the Microsoft press conference at 3GSM 2007 on February 12, 2007 - where Windows Mobile 6.0 will be announced and we will be interviewing at 3GSM also Scott Horn from Microsoft (General Manager, Mobile and Embedded Devices Division), therefore stay tuned for our first-hand reports from the official launch!
