3GSM 2007: i-mate to be first with Windows Mobile 6.0 and to announce new devices February 09, 2007 [General] | By Edward J. R. Next week when 3GSM 2007 - global mobile phone conference/exhibition takes place - will be probably the hottest week for Windows Mobile platform - apart from Microsoft (Windows Mobile 6.0!) also almost all Windows Mobile phone manufacturers will be announcing new phones... and since i-mate is a veteran of 3GSM - present there already for several years with their own stand/pavillon, clearly i-mate will use 3GSM to reveal major announcements - probably also the roadmap with 3G phones. Information from i-mate follows below. * * * * * i-mate, a key Microsoft partner, will be one of the first device manufacturers to support the new Windows Mobile 6 platform. i-mate will be unveiling several new mobile devices at 3GSM World Congress 2007 which incorporate Windows Mobile 6 and, as the specialist in Windows Mobile devices and solutions, will also be revealing its product roadmap for 2007. The new devices which i-mate will launch next week are designed with a range of functionality for both consumers and professionals, offering users an impressive choice of handsets to meet their individual requirements.
