Furthermore Palm writes: Palm is announcing upgrades to Treo 750 to get upgrades to Windows Mobile 6 At 3GSM in Barcelona, Spain, Microsoft announced Windows Mobile 6, the newest version of their mobile phone software platform. As a strong Microsoft partner, Palm plans to offer Treo smartphones with Windows Mobile 6 later this year. "Our continued collaboration with Microsoft gives our customers a powerful combination—Palm's hallmark ease of use with the power and security of Windows Mobile favored by many businesses. It is unclear however which Treo 750 is meant - the one from Cingular in USA or the one from Vodafone in Europe? In any case the HSDPA upgrade for Treo 750v (the one from Vodafone) still is not available so maybe it will be included in the Windows Mobile 6 upgrade? For now it is unclear when this Windows Mobile 6 upgrade will be available but by this announcement Palm sends clear signal "you can buy 750 safely without being worried that it runs outdated operating system because upgrade is coming". Very good decision of Palm! ... (also Windows Mobile 6 upgrade to T-Mobile Dash has been announced) and now it is yet to be seen which other Windows Mobile manufacturers will follow with which handsets...
