3GSM 2007: video review of i-mate Ultimate 5150 February 13, 2007 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. i-mate Ultimate series are not just non-working protoypes but they are real and operational.
Interestingly not only these phones from i-mate Ultimate series offer VGA display (and XGA external display output ; XGA = 1024x768) in reasonable size but also very fast version of HSDPA - with speeds up to 7 megabits/second (compared to 1.8 megabit/second in some other contemporary HSDPA devices). Generally Ultimate series consists of several phones that have the same or similar internal configuration but different external construction (to see pictures of all phones from the Ultimate series click here). Today we have recorded in audio an interview (to be published later as podcast) with David Hayes (Chief Technology Officer, i-mate) and Robin Bowler (Global Marketing Director, i-mate) and by the way we have also recorded in video the review of Ultimate 5150 - the first from the Ultimate series that will be on sale by June 2006.
