HTC launches its own online shop February 19, 2007 [General] | By Edward J. R. First HTC decides to cut out middlemen like i-mate, and to promote its own brand and now HTC goes direct like Dell? Not really! The HTC store can be found under this URL: www.europe.htc.com/shop ... and actually it is just an affiliate shop being run by Expansys (known in USA as "Mobile Planet"): The HTC accessory shop offers some of the best accessories for your HTC or Qtek device. Get started by choosing your device from the list on the left, or exploring some of our featured accessories below. It looks like this store is focused on accessories (mostly branded by HTC but also from other companies) only - no phones in this store... Such move of HTC is strange because Expansys/Mobile Planet is sourcing and branding competitive to HTC phones under their own "UBiQUIO" brand... so HTC is supporting competition though this move.
