Several new phones from HTC coming this year March 12, 2007 [General] | By Edward J. R. While long time ago HTC wanted to sue us just because we published specifications and photos of some upcoming phones (some of which were canceled and never appeared - HTC Muse anyone?) nowadays several sites are publishing (notably pdadb.net) would-be photos of upcoming phones from HTC but HTC is not doing anything to prevent these publications - HTC is not suing them and not doing any other legal action. Instead of some computer generated photos and dodgy specifications it is good to have some overview over several upcoming phones from HTC, and here comes exactly this: The planned launch of three new phones, the HTC S420 (codenamed Erato), P4550 (codenamed Kaiser) and P3450 (codenamed Elf), will help drive shipments for the second quarter, the sources indicated. [...] In addition, HTC also plans to launch three 3.5G handsets, the P6500 (codenamed Sirius), P5500 (codenamed Nike) and S730 (codenamed Wings) in the third quarter, the sources noted.
