ETEN enters era of 3G and right away it offers fast HSDPA and not merely UMTS! Furthermore new ETEN phone - X800 - has it all - VGA display, auto-focus camera, HSDPA and built-in GPS...



Some highlights from this interview:
  • origins of the brand name "glofiish" are explained as well as proper pronounciation
  • ETEN glofiish M700 Pocket PC phone and ETEN glofiish X500 Pocket PC phone - both will get upgrade to Windows Mobile 6
  • ETEN glofiish X800 Windows Mobile smartphone with touch screen is discussed
  • ETEN glofiish X800 Windows Mobile smartphone has HSDPA with support for 3.6 megabit/second [while many other HSDPA phones have only 1.8 megabit/second nowadays]
  • X800 is coming to market around July 2007
  • built-in GPS (SiRF Star III) is now a standard in all glofiish phones and X800 also has built-in GPS
