HTC releases Software updates for HTC P3600 - GPS receiver activation official ! April 05, 2007 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. Conclusion: times are over when people had to use unofficial ROM updates to get their GPS activated, but still HTC continues to leave a sour taste - the upgrade with GPS activation was released very late and when users are expecting ROM upgrade with Windows Mobile 6 the HTC instead is just releasing overdue updates. Anyway HTC has managed to sweeten this late upgrade with free test version of TomTom GPS navigation software, so users of this phone should not be too unhappy...
