T-Mobile Wing Windows Mobile phone coming to T-Mobile USA April 10, 2007 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. Unfortunately this replacement of T-Mobile MDA still has slow processor from TI - jut 200 MHz... As the T-Mobile MDA had been discontinued, people are looking forward to see a new replacement PDA phone from T-Mobile. The above pictures show the new T-Mobile Wing (HTC Atlas) which scheduled to release in Aug, 2007. The original release date was June 2007, however, a technical issue had delayed the release of this new device. (Possibly a Mobile 6 bug??) Appearance The T-Mobile Wing have the same size as the Cingular 8525 with a Spring loaded sliding keyboard. Also it has the same screen size as the 8525. With the blue rubberized coating all over the body (as the Dash, however is blue), the T-Mobile Wing has a very attractive and high class feeling. The keyboard has a new layout under the "alt" manual. The 10-keys are on right side of the keyboard instead of on the top of the keyboard. This gives the user easier to type in the numbers. On the top left of the keyboard, there are 2 LEDs which shows the "Cap" and "Alt" lock. To read preview-like review of this new Windows Mobile phone, including several real-life photos, click here.
