Orange picks Samsung i600 smartphone
April 11, 2007 [MS Smartphone] | By Edward J. R.
In a smartphone world the brutal truth is that only then when some mobile operator decides to sell some phone through its own distribution channels, only then sales grow significantly. Selling through online and brick-and-mortar retail shops is fine but to achieve higher volume sales a deal with mobile operator is necessary. There is no way around it!
While Samsung i600 (European version of Samsung BlackJack - with Wi-Fi) has been on sale in Europe for some time already, it is the decision of Orange that can boost its sales significantly: Samsung i600 comes to Orange (a mid-size European mobile operator)!
Apart from fantastic genuine scroll-wheel, this phone features:
- landscape display 320x240 pixels
- Windows Mobile 5 AKU 3.X (still no news about Windows Mobile 6)
