Despite previous rumors Steve Ballmer, the CEO of Microsoft has denied that Zune phone is coming: Q: When can we look forward to a Zune phone? A: It's not a concept you'll ever get from us. We're in the Windows Mobile business. We wouldn't define our phone experience just by music. A phone is really a general purpose device. You want to make telephone calls, you want to get and receive messages, text, e-mail, whatever your preference is. Conclusion: Windows Mobile is here to stay and on top of that manufacturers of Windows Mobile phones can be secure that Microsoft itself will not be competing with them by releasing Zune phone. Users on the other hand can safely purchase Windows Mobile phone - with Windows Mobile 6 of course - nothing less!
