Happy 10th Birthday, HTC ! May 31, 2007 [General] | By Edward J. R. HTC - a company that makes around 70-80 % of all Windows Mobile phones globally - is celebrating 10th anniversary! Watch this exclusive (not published elsewhere) video where CEO of HTC - Peter Chou - is looking back at past of HTC and is talking about current HTC strategies: HTC was established in Taiwan on May 15th, 1997. Since June 5-9, 2007, the most important in Taiwan trade show takes place - Computex Taipei 2007 - we can expect probably some new releases from HTC. Anyway HTC is releasing new phones each year but this time the occasion is double: Computex Taipei + the very unique 10th anniversary! Clearly there is always a room for improvement, if not quantitatively then qualitatively so here are some things that users of Windows Mobile phones would like to get from HTC (after all a huge global corporation that is also very focused on Windows Mobile and thus having big capabilities too):
Happy 10th Birthday, HTC! ... and thank you for producing phones powered by Microsoft software for such a long time! Clearly there is a place in Windows Mobile smartphone market for all manufacturers but it was HTC and their deals with mobile operators, that have brought Windows Mobile to mainstream.
