First review of ZENUM OPUS Windows Mobile phone published! June 21, 2007 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. ZENUM OPUS Windows Mobile phone:
... is not on sale yet but some journalists already managed to see it in action: Diego Magnani from PocketPC Italia writes: We flew directly to Lausanne, Switzerland to meet the staff of ZENUM Technologies and to get introduced to their very first device. Basically it's a very stylish, usable and ergonomic Pocket PC Phone which recently has been put in pre-ordering procedure by eXpansys. The internationa e-shop will be its sole worldwide distributor. We at Pocket PC Italia have been the only journalists who got the chance to actually put our hands on the device. The ZENUM OPUS has been designed by famous designer Jaren Goh with style and usability in mind, as you can tell by its appearance which resembles a lot a candybar smartphone while in fact it's a Pocket PC with phone capabilities, but it also has a lot more to offer. For instance it features an integrated QWERTY mini-keyboard, compact size, a 2 Megapixel camera with digital zoom, IrDA, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, Tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity, a 2,5" display with horizontal default screen orientation and, above all, the Windows Mobile 6 Professional operating system. ZENUM Technologies' desire was to create a status symbol Pocket PC Phone and this reflects on its price tag, which may appear a bit pricey (although you also get a 1 GB miniSD card for free), but what is important is that the final preproduction device we had the chance to see is the result of a work accomplished by the technical staff with handmade-like care. This is the main reason for its launch delays. To read the review, including several original photos, click here. Credit: Diego Magnani from PocketPCItalia.com.
