Skype finally working on Samsung BlackJack smartphone June 22, 2007 [MS Smartphone] | By Edward J. R. Skype is continuously developing and improving Skype for Windows Mobile so no wonder now also phones that had previously problems are working and also even EDGE suffices for Skype calls (previously: 3G or Wi-Fi)... The HTC Dash version of Skype has been tried on Samsung BlackJack and it works flawlessly with a 3G Connection - both textual Chat (instant messaging) and Voice (Voice over IP). However, it works just fine using EDGE, just a matter of Bandwidth. Quality of calls is satisfying. Conclusion: still there is no native Skype client for Symbian but just third party applications that use intermediary servers and have much limited functionality... so seeing that Skype client for Windows Mobile is being continuously developed and improved is a very good news for Windows Mobile phone users! If you haven't installed Skype yet in your Windows Mobile phone, please do it now by clicking here and following instructions. Skype for Windows Mobile is very good! Credit: Amar.
