Microsoft releases Live Search 2.0 for Windows Mobile July 14, 2007 [General] | By Edward J. R. Unfortunately it's still slower, has less information and has lower usability than Google Maps (also in version 2.0)! 
Apart from maps (roads and aerial/satellite) one can obtain other information:

Generally searching for nearby businesses works fine, like this example of finding a cinema in the center of London, shows: 
... but we failed to find an HSBC Bank on Oxford street with the use of Live Search 2.0 : 
...while the same bank could be easily found with Google Maps for Windows Mobile (note "9" on the map): 
Conclusion: While Live Search 2.0 brings more information to end users, it still offers less than Google Maps. Furthermore, usability of Live Search is low compared to Google Maps because:
