Vodafone UK to start offering Samsung i620 smartphone soon
July 17, 2007 [MS Smartphone] | By Edward J. R.

Apart from 3G (HSDPA) it has Wi-Fi after all!

More fresh information about this smartphone:

The QWERTY device has a keyboard that neatly slides up behind the main screen and it's now listed as coming soon on the Voda UK site. It's the evolution of the existing Samsung SGH-i600 currently available.

Vodafone tell us that this will have 3G connectivity and 2 megapixel cam whilst there's rumours of HSDPA/GPRS/EDGE tri-band connectivity with WiFi 802.11b/g and Bluetooth 2.0 (A2DP), a 320x240 screen, microSD card slot, video calling and dual cameras (2 megapixel at the rear and a VGA at the front). According to what we've heard this'll be a true Smartphone too, running Windows Mobile 6 Standard ... so no stylus in sight.
