Software patch for Toshiba G900 to address issues July 19, 2007 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. While Microsoft MVPs (uncritical fanboys who are being rewarded yearly by Microsoft with goodies worth several thousands dollars) were keeping mum about the problems with Toshiba G900- rendering it almost unusable (about which we were reporting on), it seems there might still be hope after all: ... because the online retailer, who's selling the highest number of Toshiba G900 phones, writes that the ROM upgrade which will address this issue, is on its way: A software patch will be available next week for download from the Toshiba Mobile Communications web site that will address issues experienced by some users when attempting to transition from idle mode on the G900 device. The web address for downloading the patch and instructions for installing it will be posted to this forum as soon as the patch is available. Toshiba Mobile Communications is also actively working to provide resolution to other G900 technical matters reported on the Expansys forum. Our thanks again for your patience and all your useful input on this matter to date. To learn more click here. [5776]
