Palm to announce the release of OFFICIAL Windows Mobile 6 upgrade for Treo 750 at Tech Ed Oz 2007 ! August 01, 2007 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. Many many users of Treo 750 are longing for Windows Mobile 6 ROM upgrade - announced at 3GSM 2007 in February this year but still not released. It appears, that first official information about this long awaited ROM upgrade just has leaked: In an official email release for Microsoft Australia’s TechEd conference, it writes Launch of the Palm Treo 750 Smartphone Palm and Microsoft will be announcing the availability of Windows Mobile 6.0 on the Palm Treo 750 Smartphone at Tech.Ed. With Windows Mobile 6 upgrade, users are getting Internet connection sharing (no need to install anything on the PC!) and HSDPA activated, so indeed this is not a minor upgrade but a very worthwhile one.
