After Oz, Windows Mobile 6 upgrade for Treo 750 released now also in EU August 30, 2007 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. Previously released (in a limited way, to one mobile operator only) in Australia (Oz), now this update: ... is being released (also in limited way, only in few countries) in EU: ... in UK ( Windows Mobile 6 for Treo 750v in English ) and Netherlands ( Windows Mobile 6 for Treo 750v in Dutch ). Some quotes about this upgrade: What does this update do? This update provides: Windows Mobile 6 Professional Update for Loss of System Sounds enhancement Enhancements Improved Calendar management with enhanced User Interface Enhanced E-mail messaging, HTML/Smart Filtering, SharePoint access and more Voice command via Bluetooth USB cable charging Conclusion: while it is good to see that Palm is releasing this upgrade for EU and Oz (apart from Windows Mobile 6 it also activates HSDPA in this UMTS phone), it is disappointing that still this upgrade is very limited and not offered to all owners of Treo 750 smartphones - particularly it is still not available in USA ...
