Pantech-C810 Duo 3G smartphone goes on sale in USA and offers unique dual sliding keypad/keyboard !

Pantech is number 3 mobile phone manufacturer in Korea (after Samsung and LG) and here comes their Windows Mobile powered smartphone for AT&T wireless carrier:



Some highlights about this Windows Mobile smartphone:

Pantech-C810 works in both UMTS/WCMDA bands that are operational in USA, i.e. 850 MHz and 1900 MHz. It offers also quad-band GSM compatible with all GSM bands: 850, 900, 1800, 1900. HSDPA is of 1.8 Mbit/second variety, what means practically speaking download speeds of around 800 kbps. It also supports EDGE and features built-in GPS receiver.

The unique feature of this phone is dual sliding action, where keyboard/keypad can be opened and presented either as QWERTY keyboard (horizontal sliding, see image above) or cellphone keypad (vertical sliding):
